uninstall password is your keyword that was used during the setup phase on your

password in this instance is ERROR (This is only on the LIVE version), the demo version is set to DEMO1

using the demo and it asks questions before it performs certain actions, are
these in the live version?
A. No, the
message’s are there to show what is happening during your demo experience –
nothing is shown on the device once the live version is installed.
Q. Can I
install remotePROTECT to another directory on my PC instead of the default?
A. The
setup GUI will not function correctly unless it is installed in the default directory , if you want to just copy the CAB files onto your
device and create the setup file manually then details can be found in section
“Manual Install” in the setup guide.
Q. Can I
install remotePROTECT to another folder on my device instead of the default?
A. No,
remotePROTECT needs to be in the default folder.
Q. How come
on my Pocket PC 2003 device when I run the ‘KILL’ command it does a complete hardreset but on my Windows Mobile 5.0 device it continues
to show the ‘
A. There
are obvious differences between the two operating systems, the Windows Mobile
5.0 offered a way to remove all ‘user’ data and then keeping the device
‘locked’ with a message for someone to return if found. The pocket PC 2003
device would not function in this way and the only way around confidently
removing the data was to perform a hard reset.
